Vlad Hațieganu is co-founder and Chief Executive of Impactum Insights, the group's decision-intelligence practice, and leads the development of ClarityOS, the model at the centre of its work. He has spent more than two decades studying how people think and how they reach decisions.
In 2015 he co-founded Majoritas Insights, a research practice combining technology with the study of public, political and electoral opinion, and led it through eleven years of growth. Over that period he ran more than ten thousand studies, surveyed over one million respondents and worked in 35 countries. Electoral research, where every forecast is tested against the result on polling day, gave him an exacting standard for accuracy and the habit of calibrating each instrument against what actually happened. Earlier in his career he founded a market-research company and, in 2012, the Regional Centre for Excellence in Civil Aviation, a joint venture of TAROM, ROMATSA and Bucharest Airports.
Vlad holds a master's degree in voting behaviour from Central European University and a master's in cognitive science from the University of Bucharest, where he is now completing a doctorate in the philosophy of mind and neuroscience. His research into how human reasoning works shapes the way he builds and deploys artificial intelligence.
