Mihai Bocai is Chief Executive of Impactum Engage, the group's services and technology unit, which brings together thirteen companies and products across strategic communications, brand, digital transformation, creative work and technology. He has spent more than two decades taking companies from an initial idea to a working organisation.
He founded his first company, INWWW, in 2000 while studying finance in Constanța, and by 2007 was running IBM's software-development centre in Romania. In 2012 he founded Evonomix, a marketing and technology company for digital commerce that now acts as the integrator within the group. In 2017 he co-founded ProductLead, a creator-marketing platform built in Romania for markets on the other side of the world. The platform, renamed Flaminjoy in 2022, has raised €3.3 million over several rounds, has been valued at €20 million and now runs a network of more than fifty thousand creators across five continents, with the Philippines, Indonesia and Brazil as its strongest markets.
His current focus is what he calls the 100× organisation, a programme to make companies grown in different countries operate as one integrated group, with shared capabilities, a single route to market and artificial intelligence built into the way the group runs. He speaks regularly at industry and technology events, including TEDx Constanța in 2022 and GPeC and IQ Digital Constanța in 2025.
